Welcome to your new Board of Directors for the Relapsing Polychondritis Awareness and Support Foundation!

RP BOD

Over the last few months, the Foundation has been busy evaluating the current Board for skills, abilities and tenure.

Carol Giordano has been elected CEO. We wouldn’t be here without her! As you know, she has been battling RP for a very long time. She’s willing and able to battle for awareness at the same time.

David McPherson is the new Vice CEO & General Counsel. A lawyer from Cincinnati, David also has RP.  He brings skills we dearly need as a growing Foundation. Living near Carol, he will be able to meet in person with her for Foundation matters.

Jennifer Amato is the new Secretary for RPASF. She is also an attorney and will be able to work with David when needed.

Kate Church will take over as Treasurer.  She has 15 years of experience in accounting and a degree in Accounting and Operations Management.

Susan Dale Ross will now be able to step down as temporary Secretary and fill the shoes of Director/ Event Management.  She has a knack for Organization and will serve is well in this position.

**** We will be making more changes soon to complete the team.  We have a couple of other positions yet to be filled in Advocacy, Social Media and Fundraising as well as IT. If you have any of these skills, please leave your name and what you are interested in on this post. These are all volunteer positions. Someone will contact you.

We hope to be better than ever in bringing this disease to the forefront in the coming years!

Our next event will be in New Orleans in April where we will be meeting doctors of all specialties at the annual meeting of the American College of Physicians. We hope to get the information to as many physicians as possible in this 3-day event!
