Abstract Announcement

Washington, DC

RPASF, Inc. is proud to announce the following for each of the patients who helped and participated in our survey “Relapsing Polychondritis Epidemiology” :

Dear Marcela Ferrada,

“We are pleased to inform you that the American College of Rheumatology/The Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ACR/ARHP) Abstract Selection Committee has accepted your abstract titled ‘Clinical Presentations of Relapsing Polychondritis: More Than a Swollen Ear’ for presentation at the 2016 ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting, to be held in Washington, DC, November 11-16.”

This Abstract, in the form of a Poster, will not only be presented at the Annual Meeting, but 2016 ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting abstracts will be published at www.acrabstracts.org in late September.

This marks the first time in history that Relapsing Polychondritis has been, not only presented at such a meeting, but also published at the same time. The Abstract will bear the Foundation’s name which will generate great Awareness for us and RP as a whole. We are also hoping that our survey “Relapsing Polychondritis Epidemiology in Children” will be accepted in the same manner.

With your continued support, our plans are to have an Exhibit at the ACR/ARHP meeting to coincide with Dr. Ferrada’s presentation. Thank you to all who participated in the two surveys and to all of you for your help in every way.
